Blogs are an interesting thing. They connect people with similar views, styles, and tastes allowing “strangers” to peer into their thoughts, opinions, and daily struggles. Bloggers expose success’, triumphs, failures, and daily routines that are then open for public debate and scrutiny. Like many others, I feel oddly connected to some of the bloggers whose writings, musings, and opinions I read daily. Creating connections and inspiring others while creating your own space to unleash your thoughts into the world are just a few of the motivations for blogging. Here are some of my favorite daily reads:
Kelle Hampton http://www.kellehampton.com/
When I want to feel inspired by a real woman and some truly fabulous writing and photography, I always turn to Kelle Hampton’s inspiring stories. Not only are her words inspiring and beautiful her outlook is bright and even on the darkest days inspires other to “suck the marrow” from life. I think that the world could use more individuals like Kelle.

Her constant motivation to better herself via her career path, fitness goals, and adventurous escapades truly motivate me to follow the road where I want it to go.
Guide To Style http://guidetostyle.blogspot.com/
From her perfect pink princess bridal shower to her shopping picks, Nicole offers a great sense of style that feels very familiar. I love her aesthetic and her style– plus her wedding melts my heart with each and every update– just perfection.
Cupcakes and Cashmere http://cupcakesandcashmere.com/
With a stylists eye, Cupcakes and Cashmere from Emily Schuman offers a bit of everything from food, interior design, shopping guides, and fashion of course.
Young House Love http://www.younghouselove.com
John and Sherry Petersik are a true inspiration to the design and DIY world. Not only are they style savvy, budget friendly, and Bethenny Frankel loving– they get to be together all day every day and run their blog full time as their means of supporting their family. What I wouldn’t give to find a truly unique niche business where J and I could work together on something that is truly our passion. Too bad we will never DIY like they do– we are not the worlds most handy couple.
Smitten Kitchen http://smittenkitchen.com/
Stunning photography and mouthwatering recipes are only two reasons to be a follower of Deb Perelman’s Smitten Kitchen. Some favorites are leek toasts with blue cheese, baked potato soup, pumpkin swirl brownies, and caramelized shallots.
